Lean Six Sigma
Challenges facing implementation of six sigma and lean manufacturing processes include a focus on gut-driven rather than data-driven projects and getting full management buy-in. This is a failure of the analytic tools used in the process. As they focus in detail on the relationship of a small number of variables, project selection is often done intuitively, pre-screening and judging the data and improvement possibilities. This can lead to the suspicion that six sigma methodology is being used to support favored projects. This, along with a lack of quantification of process improvement benefit, negatively impacts management buy-in.
Geometric Process Control (GPC) is a unique technology that changes this, by allowing operations and engineers to easily visualize huge datasets to see, analyze, question, test hypotheses and more.
View this webinar and we will show you how GPC Is implemented in CVE (C Visual Explorer) and CPM (C Process Modeller), how GPC can be used in your existing and planned improvement initiatives, as well as motivating and discovering new targets for improvement. We’ll include examples from across the process industry.
